For all ages
At St Cuthbert’s
Food from 6pm – all very relaxed, just bring a plate of something and we’ll all share what we’ve got
After we’ve eaten we’ll enjoy one of Jim’s famous all age quizzes
Then we’ll round off the evening with some singing, maybe an interview or a short epilogue
All over by 8pm
Do let Liz know if you are planning to come
NEW YEAR’S DAY – THE LATE BIG BREAKFAST
We have a found a cosy place in the woods with a warm welcome, a large log burner and cheap food! So here is your invitation to meet there on New Year’s Day for a late big breakfast. Do bring friends and family. We just need approximate numbers. Text Terry on 07935 320 558
OPTION 1 – A GENTLE WALK (BEFORE AND AFTER)
If you want a gentle downhill walk first then follow these directions to a nearby car park and arrive there at 11.15am
Come off A470 at Coryton roundabout and follow signs for Tongwynlais. Once in Tongwynlais turn right up Mill Road past Castell Coch. Continue on road for about a mile. The Car Park is on the left. To enter the car park take sharp left.
OPTION 2 – FORGET THE WALK & HEAD STRAIGHT FOR THE FOOD
Arrive from 11.45am.
Come off A470 at Coryton roundabout and follow signs for Tongwynlais. Once in Tongwynlais turn right up Mill Road past Castell Coch. After about 200/300 yds there is a sign for Forest Stoves. Take this turn. There is parking but it is limited. It is a showroom for wood burning stoves but also has a cafe – this is what we are after.
